I used to sit and ponder
of what this life would be.
A solid look, an easy smile,
with songs from different voices.
Post it covered walls
define a day of a busy bee.
Few hours in front of a laptop,
to update twitter, plurk, and facebook pages.
The memories of a days event,
full of hopes and expectations.
A text, a call, and an email
filled screen with technology.
Every interaction of new faces
lifts a cloud of doubt and inhibitions,
This hyper-fashion of a shrinking world,
renewed definition of global unity.
Honest smiles with serious looks
belong to these youthful spirits,
of lush and rich, of brave and meek,
these islands sign a merger.
Greeting a bright and hopeful dawn
of brilliant and fascinating gifts.
This new vision of captured dreams,
seen through the tales of one another.
I was supposed to read this at the end of my thank you speech last Saturday night at PAGCOR at the Emerging Influential Bloggers for 2009 Awards Night! I already consumed around 6 minutes in my speech, we were only allowed 5.

This writing project will not be possible without the sleep deprived Ms. Janette Toral and the support of sponsors such as Absolute Traders, My Brute Cheats, Business Summaries, Fitness Advantage Club, Events and Corporate Video, Events at Work, Dominguez Marketing Communications, Red Mobile, Budget hotel in Makati, Lucio C. Tan Group of Companies, and Blog4Reviews.com.

Ah, the tentative first step. And we’re like anxious parents eager to put into posterity our first foray into the blogosphere. How apt, Doc Z.
Sleep deprived Janette Toral. Wahahahaha. What now – you’ve ventured now into sleep management or sleep clinic?
But of course Janette deserves a mention. She conducts herself very well in this writing project. Hats off to her, too.
@Jan,
Di naman halata na sleep deprived e. heheeh. Ganun talaga ang mga professionals ano? I agree with you. If there was anyone else worth mentioning, it’s Janette and her efforts.
Yeah, sleep management, I should be an expert on that with my so many hours of siesta, but, no. LOL Baka antukin lang ako.

Congratulations!

That was written the night before. I wanted to make one during the event, but I wasn’t sure I’d be able to finish since I know before hand that I am going to meet up with you guys.
