Train Heart

A fond memory of a recent past,
I spoke to you again.
This queue of faceless crowds,
bewildered, but not forgotten.
You took me to my school,
to my date, and to my gimmicks.
Your rustling metal wheels,
helped me silently think.
The aroma of a thousand hopefuls,
busy in their personal distress.
you blanket them with comfort,
rails of freedom from troubles – rest.
Each unmindful commuter prays,
adventure to overflow their noises.
Crawling through thick arrayed layers,
of forgetful empty voices.
Random minds of exhausted features,
rush in and out with an unknown drive.
Those sliding glass and aluminum doors open,
embracing everyone inside.
You bring them confidently home,
surrendering to you their burden.
Thankful whisper blown kisses,
were enough to satisfy your amends.
Our friendship stood fervently,
through constantly changing times.
The promise we shared together,
shall be kept in my heart and mind.
I shall teach my future children,
and their children’s offsprings virtue.
The fun hardships of the journeys we had,
this faithful train heart that is you.

im sooooo speechless…
magnum opus..
Precious,
Thanks for dropping by.

This train brings together people on different journeys.
I’d like to think of this train as the blogosphere. You, me and the others entered this blogotrain’s sliding glass and aluminum doors. We are here for different reasons and are going to different places. But we meet, among faceless crowds, and enjoy each others company. We sat at some part of this train and call ourselves the Jedi Bloggers. There are a thousand hopefuls, there are also those in distress. But there are things you did not mention–the pickpockets in the train. But then again, we watch our backs, don’t we? It’s nice having you aboard this train, doc z. And I do hope you’ll tell your children and their children of this wonderful train we ride. Including the laughter and the fun hardships of the journeys we are having. We might be on different journeys but till the moment we disembark, we are one and having fun.
Well said master Luke! This is indeed a good metaphor isn’t it? The train is the blogosphere. There maybe fun and exciting moments here and there, but there are also danger signs posted on the indifferent walls. I am learning a lot from this train ride, much of a roller coaster actually. LOL. What makes this ride worth it? Meeting the jedibloggers and being part of them.

LRT kaya to o MRT? I have fond memories of LRT, I’ve been traversing the Monumento-Baclaran line ever since I can remember.
Hi Badet,
That was taken from the MRT. he he he. Yeah, I had a lot of very fond memories of this MRT ride too. From College years to Med school.

I am always trying to instill virtue in my children, love the last verse.
@Dragonblogger,
I am still getting lost with the commenting system of WP. I just found your comment now. he he he.
There are certain things I learned from my parents that I can still remember now, so I made that last line a proper way for me to acknowledge parents’ teachings in general.
Yeah, I dumped EC on this blog. hehehe

“huwag po nating pindutin and emergency button na matatagpuan sa tabi ng pintuan”
don’t you feel like actually pressing it when you hear that announcement? It always sound like an invitation to me lol
great poem Z!
@Roy,
True! I am actually tempted to do that all the time. What if I pulled the lever? What if someone pulled the lever? hehehe.
Sa totoo lang, parang masarap sumuway sa batas. Pero kung yun ang sinabi e di sundin. Wala namang mawawala kung gagawin natin di ba?
Z
I see you dumped Entrecard eh?
Wow, Doc Z already owned a domain!!! Hoooray!
A new layout, it is better
Kaya lang Doc Z, hindi ba bawal ang kumuha ng photo sa loob ng MRT? Hala, susumbong kita, hahah
Madz,
Ganun ba? Sige tatanggalin ko na ang picture. Thanks for the info.

LRT kept me from being late in College (rode the Monumento to Vito Cruz line) – good job LRT, good job!
Dee,
The LRT also took me to college… of course unlike your school, I had to take a jeep to my school. LOL If I could name the LRT Monumento to Baclaran line, I would have called her Adarna. hehehe

I rarely ride the MRT, so every train ride becomes memorable. It’s actually fun looking at the people’s faces. It’s like everyone is in deep thought until they disembark on their stops.
As usual, what a great poem!
Hi Reena,
You found my blog!!! (dance) Yikes, I forgot this isn’t plurk. Woot!
I was looking at their faces when I wrote this poem. I was actually in the LRT while I wrote this. Good thing there were several stops before I left the train. At least I had plenty of time to write my poem.
Thank you!

::wink::

sounds very romantic. ahihi. Doc Z <3 Train.
What happened to your car?
@Reyjr, ah.. the car is still being worked on. A valve exploded. Do you know how to fix a car? Maybe I can use your services. hehehe
