Colored liquids flowing,
inside my thirsty mind.
I drink a glass not knowing,
the hunger grew strong inside.
One sip, one gulp – a shot,
Unlimited consumption.
I breathe and swallowed up,
unbearable assumptions.
Drowning in my head,
the room danced around me.
Hesitation never sheds,
the music and the melodies.
Another round of drinks,
my inner satisfaction,
No slowing down, no tricks,
my drunken sweet addiction.

kahit hindi ako umiinom.. sa tingin ko lasing na ako dito sa iyong tula… waaahhahaa.. hik!
Ganoon ba Doc? I hope not. Iyong patikim tikim na iyan kung minsan hindi na sapat. It’s like an “ambrosia” , makes one a crapulous person, eventually. You get inured to the side effects and then “look” for them even in the stillness of the night.
He he he, but I know, this is only a poem. So, what am I worried of? right?

This poem was inspired by an album I saw at the clinic. One of the owners celebrated his birthday and had a surreal party at their house. I was inspired by the bar they set up for the guests. I wasn’t able to go there because I was somewhere else.
