Symmetry.
A paired reflection
looking innocently
at each other’s beauty.

Even in numbers,
opposite ends the same
no in betweens,
just part of the other pair.

A set.
Waiting for contradiction.
Feeling each other’s pain,
reflecting in unison.

Lines.
Appearing as intersections.
Symmetry and perfection
reflecting in each other’s eyes.

Twin souls,
brought together,
seeking the other,
hoping to be
whole.

Hey Zorolne, that's really good! People should put that on their engagement announcements. :)

During occasions , like the yuletide season, valentine's day or even this All souls', All saints' day internet surfers/searchers are always looking for short quotes/poems to use in their emails. Your site could attract a large amount of traffic if you use “searchable” words or SEO lingo. Maximize your site.

A touching poem of soul mates finally finding one another – way to go.

            Ah, happy souls…

Me, I call myself a line. Not the line of sweet powder on a coffee table, but a skeptical line that abhors the hype about intersecting lines. Lines ending in consummation – blurring of lines and form.

Well, it's just me – a squiggly line despairing at the sight of another squiggly scribble, despairing the truth that in this lifetime never shall our lines intersect. Because the cold hard truth is that we're two parallel lines, from here to frigging eternity.

Sorry for leaving a glob of ink on your page. :)

What's wrong with squiggly scribbles?? If they squiggle enough, they'll happily cross paths and get all messily entangled with each other numerous times between here and eternity. Unfortunately, someone's always determined to stab a DOT at the end of the line. Period. We squiggles never quite make it to eternity. But we can have fun trying!

So funny, because I read this more literally – twins, each whole, but also half of the whole, needing the other to be complete. I like it on all levels, Doc.

Unfortunate that it's me who stabs a dot at the end of the line. Talk about stubbing myself in my squiggly foot. Love this: “If they squiggle enough, they'll happily cross paths…” :)

Thanks Holly! There are so many levels that I just want to cover all at once here. Such is the mind. Trying to speak out what it truly feels, but end up offering something else.
