Let’s dance again,
to a melody of soft music.
Just two shadows,
shifting
in the background of a bliss.

Moving
with our united frame,
as our bodies float,
on notes struck by a violin.

The breeze,
of a cool silent air,
stirs with the warmth
of our tune.

Tonight
I bathe in our sweet embrace.
As we entangle ourselves,
with raw instinct.

The reverberation of a drum
beating passionately
as we reached the finale
with an explosion.

  2. Where’s the fan, Z? You’re supposed to hand us ladies a fan before we read such steamy, romantic poetry. ::throwing myself across the couch in a mock faint::

Great poem. I like the way it moves…

    Thanks Holly,

I have been an absentee administrator in my own blog lately and sometimes the comments surprise me too. Of course, there are comments from friends that I know who can read through my poems. ::wink::

Thank you, here’s an ice cold water and a fan.

  12. That is excellent, Zorlone! Now, are you familiar with Barry White? I can totally picture his low voice reading out your poem with bass and orchestration in the background…

  13. madz says:

Doc Z, how can you possibly do these? Writing for the NaNoWriMo, writing short stories, writing poems, and attending to patients. Oh how can I forgot you also play badminton. Did you still got to sleep? LOL!

    Let’s DANCE!

  14. Jena Isle says:

As a poet, you can get away with anything and not be rated PG. The explosion , I hope, was contained…he he he…Happy birthday, again.

Awww, belated happy birthday Doc Zi! :D

  16. Zorlone says:

    Heather,

I think my dad sings Barry White during videoke nights here at our home. Ah, good suggestion! I haven’t figured out how to follow the instructions Justin gave me on how to record my voice so that I could publish podcasts here too.

Soon, I’ll be able to do that. November is almost nearing its end.

    Madz,

I think I have been an absentee blogger for the longest time and haven’t been able to return to my own blog to rely to comments. Well, I better shape up and find time LOL.

My story is not yet done (for nanowrimo) I am stuck half way, but there are still so many stories and chapters to tell. I will be quick to reply as soon as I finish.

Yikes, December is editing month huhuhu…

    Wish me luck!
